La fundación del Parque de Aves está buscando voluntarios para su proyecto de corta duración en Hortobágy, un pueblo pequeño en la mitad del parque nacional, en el periodo de verano en el mes de junio. Julio, agosto y septiembre también van a ser disponibles a partir de marzo.

The topic of the project is to use nature as a source of self-development, creativity and cooperation. The participants will work on location in smaller groups doing activities such as maintaining the Bird Park resort by cutting grass, painting the wooden gates, the fences, the bike stands, re-painting some of the recovery rooms, building the walking-path of the park, helping with the recovery of the injured birds by feeding them 4-times a day, helping with the preparation for examination, moving birds from cages to other cages (because of cleaning or examination), helping with the cleaning of cages, changing water, feeding, releasing birds back to nature. The volunteers will share rooms in a stone house which uses solar energy and has a big garden. The house is just 5 minutes walk from the Bird Park, the venue of the volunteer activities.
